What is mental toughness and how can we develop this critically-important characteristic in young athletes?

If you want to develop a peak performer, or learn how to become one yourself, this is the book for you! Time and again, mental toughness has proven to be not only a critical component of athletic success, but also important to success in life itself. As it relates to sports, it is the ability to mentally endure and thrive in adverse situations or circumstances and to push through any obstacles or opponents and achieve an intended goal.
